Our Life Skills Learning

“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
Mahatma Ghandi
As part of a whole-school approach, PSHE education develops the qualities and attributes pupils
need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of a diverse society.
Life skills equips pupils to live healthy, safe, productive, capable,
responsible and balanced lives. At Lionwood we believe that
life skills is an important and necessary part of pupils’ education and
essential for their emotional wellbeing and growth. Through teaching life
skills we promote British values, respect for self and others as well as
different beliefs and choices. Our aim is to equip children with skills and
knowledge that will enable them to grow and become independent, confident and
active learners and citizens.
