At Lionwood we want children to be curious about the past and develop a love of history. Children will develop an understanding of how people lived in the past, how it is similar and different to how we live now. They will be introduced to significant individuals in history and begin to gain an understanding of chronology. As historians children will learn to question, investigate, examine and explore. Norwich is steeped in history and we ensure our curriculum provides opportunities to visit the local area and come face to face with the past.
